Our journey started with our founder and chief tutor, Matthew Cash, an award-winning mathematician with an unparalleled passion for mathematics and teaching.

Matthew is a distinguished mathematician, holding numerous accolades to his name including 1st place in the UNSW Mathematics Competition, Top 5 in Australia for the Simon Marais University Mathematics Competition, and the esteemed University of Sydney’s Chris Cannon Prize for the best Honours thesis presentation. His academic journey is further embellished with the completion of 36 University level Maths and Statistics subjects, topping multiple cohorts including those at the Honours level.

Matthew’s love for all branches of mathematics is infectious, with a particular interest in probability and statistics. His exceptional mathematical skills have made him a sought-after candidate in the financial industry, having worked with top-tier quantitative trading firms in Hong Kong, New York, and Sydney.

At Matt Cash Mathematics, Matthew himself teaches our senior classes, bringing his wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom. Alongside Matthew, we have a team of highly qualified, passionate, and experienced teachers who are dedicated to helping students excel in their studies. We take great pride in catering to the specific requirements of selective schools in Western Sydney, including Girraween High School, Baulkham Hills High School, Penrith Selective High School, and Parramatta High School, while also extending our services to students from other schools.
